Access XL, part of XL Global Group and a leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic lifts for commercial vehicles, is delighted to announce a new partnership with PALFINGER.
From January 2024, Access XL will acquire the Intellectual Property rights for manufacture and distribution of the PALFINGER ‘V-Lift’ product range. Furthermore, Access XL shall at the same time, become the exclusive UK distributor for all PALFINGER chassis-mounted tail lifts including cantilever, retractable and foldable.
Already well established as a leading provider of column, retractable, multi-deck, refuse and passenger tail lifts, the Access XL range, coupled with over 40, market-proven models from PALFINGER will comprise the widest selection of tail lift solutions for all key industry sectors, including transport & logistics, food & beverage, rental fleets, municipalities & rescue services.

With over 40 different tail lift models and 170 model configurations, PALFINGER has successfully facilitated the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks and vehicles for over 50 years.

From January 2024, all new sales of PALFINGER tail lifts for the UK will be processed by Access XL, while national support services and distribution for both brands will be amalgamated and controlled from the Access XL manufacturing facility in Forfar, Scotland. Through this acquisition and alliance, clients across the UK shall benefit from the local service, support, manufacture and delivery of a market leading tail lift range, overcoming many of the import / export and service limitations apparent in the industry over recent years.
All existing warranty and service commitments will be honoured and delivered through the existing Access XL warranty team and assisted by Dave Cook.
