We are continually working to improve our management systems, services and business processes, to ensure that at the very least, they meet the requirements of our customers and applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This policy is communicated to all XL Group employees and forms the ethos behind which we do business. This policy together with the objectives set will be reviewed at least annually by Top Management as part of the Management review, and following any major changes to operations. Health and Safety Policy
We are committed to the reduction of accidents and risk in the workplace to as low as reasonably possible and to ensuring that all those who may be affected by our operations are not exposed to unnecessary risk to their health or safety. The XL Group and its employees will comply with current Health and Safety legislation regulations/codes of practice and will satisfy the spirit as well as the legal requirements of The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. We continually strive to improve our Health and Safety performance and will co-operate with employee representatives to regularly check the operation of this policy and to make timely corrective action where necessary. This will be achieved by ensuring that we meet all of our statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements as they apply to our business activities and by ensuring that those activities are carried out in a controlled manner. The XL Group is committed to the continual improvement of our environmental systems, performance and pollution prevention. This policy is communicated to all XL Group employees and forms the ethos behind which we do business.
